Viridian Coast Studios works to serve emerging content creators by providing the resources

to take their scripts off the page and turn dreams into a reality.

Viridian is the brainchild of content creators Jim Mauro and Emm O'Connor. What started as a work friendship at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company Retail Shop in Times Square has since turned into a fully operational production company based in New York City.

Emm O'Connor | Co-Founder is an actor, writer, and producer based in New York City. Hailing from Oxford, Pennsylvania, she moved to New York in 2011 to study Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Following her studies at AMDA, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Multimedia Performing Arts from Lehman College in the Bronx. Emm successfully wrote, produced, and starred in her first pilot "Capital Advice" alongside Jim Mauro and Ashley Kate Adams of AKA Studio Productions in 2014 and toured the project throughout the 2015-2017 festival season. Following the success of "Capital Advice", Emm wrote and produced the comedy pilot "Brewtown", which had a succesful festival run from 2022-2023. Additionally, Emm's television credits include The Chew (Season 5, ABC), Full Frontal with Samantha Bee (Season 4, TBS) Twisted Killers (Season 1, Oxygen). Emm has been a producer within the 90 Day Fiance Franchise since 2021.

Jim Mauro | Co-Founder is a producer, director, and editor in New York City. Born and raised in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, he attended New York University’s Tisch Film Program in 2010, earning a BFA. His thesis film, The Exploration of Cole as Led by the Prepubescent Sandy, has won awards at several festivals and screened in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. Jim started out as Assistant Editor for The Weinstein Company, working on dozens of films including "The Imitation Game", "The Hateful Eight", and "Big Eyes", as well as Broadway’s "Finding Neverland: The Musical". Since then, he has worked on many films and TV shows for HBO, Netflix, Disney+, CBS, MTV, FX, CMT, & TBS. Notable projects include Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Patriots Day (2016), Emily In Paris, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, and National Geographic: Explorer.
