Viridian Coast Studios works to serve emerging content creators by providing the resources
to take their scripts off the page and make dream projects a reality.
Viridian is the brainchild of content creators Jim Mauro and Emm O'Connor. What started as a work friendship at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company Retail Shop in Times Square has since turned into a fully operational production company serving independent content creators in New York City.
Emm O'Connor | Co-Founder/Executive Producer is an actor, writer, and producer based in New York City. Hailing from Oxford, Pennsylvania, she moved to New York in 2011 to study Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Following her studies at AMDA, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Multimedia Performing Arts from Lehman College in the Bronx. Emm successfully wrote, produced, and starred in her first pilot "Capital Advice" alongside Jim Mauro and Ashley Kate Adams of AKA Studio Productions in 2014 and toured the project throughout the 2015 festival season. Additionally, Emm has worked as a Production and Script Intern for The Chew on ABC (Season 5) and as a Field, Production, and Post-Production Intern for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS. Emm's next series "Brewtown" is slated to debut in 2020 alongside Viridian Coast Studios' recent pilot “Under the Influence”, where she served as Executive Producer.

Maclain Dassatti | Resident Associate Director is so excited to get to work as a member of the Viridian Coast team. Serving as assistant director and stepping in as director due to unforeseen circumstances, he really got to cut his teeth on Under The Influence with Viridian at the helm. Hoping to expand his reach in the TV/Film, Maclain has paired with Viridian to not only serve in a directorial capacity, but also as a writer and performer in some of his own projects. With a pilot on the way and ideas buzzing constantly in his head, it’s only a matter of time before these ideas become reality. Primarily focused on creating LGBTQ+ stories and de-stigmatizing the truths about mental health, Maclain’s ultimate goal is to tell the tales of those less told. Let’s hear the real stories of real people.
Will Meade | Resident Director of Photography is a Hofstra University Film School graduate currently active in the Film and TV industry. Starting with film in high school, Will created several short films that were highly recognized in his community. Moving on to college, Will studied the art and craft of film and the production of television to lead him to his award-winning film "Family, Inc." This set him on the track to becoming involved in many other film and television projects which, to this day, he is still deeply in love with. Will has written and directed award-winning short films and is a Gold Telly Award winner for editing in television. Most recently, Will worked as an editor for the Lifetime Original Film A Daughter's Plan to Kill.
